Abstract
Norsk:

Jeg har sett nærmere på begrepene identitet, habitus, ressursorientert/problemorientert tilnærming til mangfold, inkluderende fellesskap, anerkjennelse, voksenrollen og barnehagen som en kulturell møteplass i teorikapitlet. Jeg har intervjuet tre pedagoger i to forskjellige barnehager i forhold til arbeidet deres med minoritetsbarns kultur i barnehagens aktiviteter og hverdag, samt hva er deres holdninger og syn på minoritetsbarn. Jeg har videre analysert og drøftet mine funn utfra aktuell teori og Bourdieu`s begrep habitus.

Problemstilling: Hvordan arbeider barnehagen for å tydeliggjøre minoritetsbarns kultur i barnehagens aktiviteter og hva er personalets syn på etniske minoritetsbarn?
 
English:

I have taken a closer look to these concepts: identity, habitus, resource-oriented/problem-oriented approach to diverstity, regcognition, inclusive communities and the kindergarten as a cultural meeting place in the following theory chapter. I have interviewed three kindergarten-theachers in two different kindergartens. I have also looked closer on how the staff work with minority children`s culture in the kindergartens activties and every day life in the kindergarten, and what the staff`s attitude and thoughts towards minority children. I have further analyzed and discussed my findings from the theory chapther and Bourdieu`s term habitus.

Research thesis: How does the kindergarten work on clarifying minority children`s culture in the kindergarten`s activities, and what is the staffs views on ethnic minority children?
