The written assignment starts off with an introduction presenting the theme, definitions, the aim of the study and the study apporach. Thereafter, a supplementary theory chapter elaborating the themes blood pressure, hypertension, physical activity and physical inactivity is prestented, containing an additional overview of previous interventions. The methods chapter presents the study design, sample and measurment methods. Thereafter, a discussion on different methodological considerations will follow. The article which is written in accordance with the guidelines of The Journal of The Norwegian Medical Association will thereby follow. A reference list and the appendix’s can be found at the end of this master thesis. Due to the limitated word count of the written assignment, the results from the statistical analyses will only be presented in the article. Keywords: blood pressure, physical activity, physical inactivity, body mass index, waist circumference, randomized controlled trials.
